About Me
Hi There... Thanks for stopping by my blog which I'll use to document my learning and travels through the Leadership and Entrepreneurship Program in Ireland. In case you've landed here and we haven't had the chance to get to know each other yet, here is a bit about me and why I decided to embark on this experience:
I am currently pursuing an MBA with a specialization in Bioinnovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Colorado Denver.
I previously completed my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical
Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and now work full-time as a
Quality Engineer for a biomedical engineering organization, Medtronic, where I contribute to the development of neurosurgical navigation systems. You can find more information on my professional experience on my LinkedIn profile.
I am completing my MBA to pursue positions of
management and leadership within the Biomedical Industry. There are many great
books by Harvard MBAs and psychologists outlining what it takes to be a great
leader, but ultimately great leadership can only be learned from great leaders.
The Entrepreneurship and Leadership program in Ireland offers an opportunity to
learn from entrepreneurial leaders in an experiential learning environment. I
am eager to learn from leaders within different industries and cultures, to cultivate
relationships with my peers on this program, and to immerse myself in the
entrepreneurship world for hands on learning.
